My 41’ air-conditioned / heated Hatteras sportfisher is fully equipped and totally prepared for a 4-hour, Family Fun, near shore cruise or a 12-hour, Serious Angler, deep sea “big game” Marlin trip. Outfitted with the latest fish-finding electronics and fish catching equipment, the “Distraction” is a fishing machine prowling the Gulf from Pensacola, Florida to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama.

Economy Fishing Charter Packages
I offer (8) eight economy fishing charter packages designed to put you, the fisherman, in fish producing waters for the most time possible. This maximizes your fishing dollars. We fish where the fish are in Alabama.

FAMILY FUN Fishing
My 4-hour (half-day) Family Fun trip is structured around (3) three goals:
1. Time Saving: Many people do not have the time for an all-day fishing trip
2. Inexpensive: A low cost, economy fishing trip.
3. Private: It’s your boat, your crew, your time and day. (no walk-ons).
I offer (4) four 4-hour Family Fun Packages with morning and afternoon departures. Packages start at $650.

SERIOUS ANGLER Fishing
I offer (4) four Serious Angler “Economy Packages”:
• 10-hour, bottom fishing and trolling trip.
• 12-hour, bottom fishing and trolling trip.
• 12-hour (Big Game) deep blue-water Marlin trolling trip.
• 4-hour (Shark Hunting) trip

Packages start at $1700.

These fishing trips have scheduled departure times or when you decide! I suggest you give me a call so we (YOU and I) can plan a trip to meet your needs. We can target a fish or target an area. We can have on board any special gear or baits. We have the time to bottom fish or troll. Your input is very important!

Costs to Complete Your Trip
• Deckhand tip @ 15% - 20% standard
• Fish Cleaning @ .30 cents per whole fish pound.

We accept all major credit cards, debit card, traveler's checks and cash. No personal checks please.

Alabama Fishing Specials: All past fishing guests receive $100 off on all trips of 10-hours or more and $50 off shorter trips.
• No cost to book.
• I can accommodate up to six (6) guests.
• Package Rates are for the boat, NOT PER-PERSON!
• Private parties only, NO walk-ons.
• Corporate and special group rates.
• Charter cost paid to Captain the day of the trip.

Economy Fishing Charters include:
• Your selected fishing package in the big, comfortable "Distraction".
• Fuel.
• The Captain (your fishing guide).
• The Deckhand (your instructor).
• Baits ( an arsenal of baits and lures to target any gulf fish from Pensacola, Florida to Gulf Shores, Alabama.).
• Fishing Gear (rods, reels, hooks & weights, etc..).
• Your required fishing permits.

Your Deckhand:
The Deckhand is an essential part of the crew, especially to you! He is your instructor, your coach and your helper. He will instruct you on the operation of the various rods and reels. He will coach you on the techniques of offering baits and hooking fish. He will clean and package your catch at the end of the day. He will help you in any way he can --just ask! He works for tips and fish-cleaning money so please take care of him!

The “Extras” ( to complete your fishing day ):
• Ice, sandwiches, drinks, snacks, sun tan lotion and other sundries can be purchased at the marina store.
• Taxidermy. There is nothing like displaying that beautiful Marlin. If in doubt, the Captain can help you determine a trophy-sized fish. He will make arrangements for hanging, weighing and photos at the dock. If you desire to have it mounted, he can help you make the arrangements.
• Special Needs. If you have any Special Needs, let us know. We will be happy to help you make arrangements.

Booking Your Charter

First: call (or email) me with your desired fishing date and fishing package. (Booking/Email)

Second: A small deposit secures your fishing date, time and package.
• $150 for a 4-hour trip.
• $300 for 10-hours or more (this deposit Visa or Mastercard is held on-file until the day of the charter.).

All Saturdays and Summer trips book fast, so it’s very important to book as early as possible. Remember, we book on a first come basis and up to a year in advance.
